Unsteady State Gas Permeameter

Print

The unsteady state gas permeameter is such an apparatus used to determine permeability of plug sized core samples at reservoir confining pressure. The gas permeability determination is based on the unsteady state pressure falloff method. Measuring the low permeability core samples with steady state method is very time consuming. Therefore, unsteady state method is a fast and suitable way of measuring permeability range of 0.01 mD to 1 D. The instrument is provided with precise pressure transmitters, and it is operational in oil and gas industries and educational studies.
